Website Awards:
Over the first eight years of this site's existance, I submitted it to many different Award Programs. I learned a great deal about accessibility and user-friendliness from the various requirements and suggestions of the evaluators for these awards, and Salamanders Young Burn Survivors changed a lot in the process. My thanks to all those dedicated people who helped me develop this site into what it is today. I am highly honoured that this site was chosen as Colby's Choice Site Of
The Year for 2006. The purpose of this award was to determine who among
the Casey's Celtic Charm award winners was the "Best of the Best"
in each calendar year.

I am honoured that this site was chosen as the O.N.Z.C.D.A Web Site of
the Month for February 2008. The intent of this highly sought after award
was to recognise web sites that had achieved excellence in all areas of
content, design, graphics, techniques, and presentation. It was given to
